The creative intentions of the first "fougère". A royale martini that spills memories of youth - the cologne of first love. Tailored suites scented with cigarette smoke. The fetor of high society and congo lines that go nowhere. Once new and contemporary, now old and vulgar - artistic ambitions that fade with the ruins. An olfactive portrait of jep, and a metaphor for the state of modern perfumery.

THE FILM, THE INSPIRATION.
Jep Gambardella is 65, he is a successful journalist who flits between culture and the high life in a Rome that never ceases being a sanctuary of wonder and greatness. Behind the decadence and decay of reality, the city continues to preserve a hidden and sometimes desperate beauty.
» Light elements and a fresh tonality compose the beginning of the fragrance -- the green jacket, flowers, stem, the muddy cemetery, swamp. Fear and sadness creep in. He walks toward somewhere, somebody…light remains until suddenly he grabs her and goes underground. Here I wanted to definitively express two things: First, her. The sensuality, beauty, and orientalism she possesses -- I used middle eastern codes of saffron, cypriol, and oud. And second, him. He’s like a Pan God, human-and-beast, god of the forest, poetry. He is entirely seduced by her beauty. He is not the same beside her. He’s horny and falls asleep in the arms of his mother. I used patchouli and cedarwood atlas to bring animality here. Ultimately, there is contrast between lightness and darkness, above and below, flower and earth, beauty and disgust. «
