EDEN — Irish musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer born Jonathon Ng, December 23, 1995 in Dublin. Classically trained in violin from age seven, he taught himself piano, guitar, and drums, graduating from Blackrock College Dublin. Ng began as The Eden Project in 2013, releasing over forty tracks of electronic dance music including dubstep and drum and bass before discontinuing the alias in 2015. Rechristened as EDEN, he shifted to an indie pop aesthetic and founded record label MCMXCV. His debut EP End Credits (August 2015) amassed over ninety-five million streams and sold out his first US tour with zero promotion. His cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" hit number one on HypeM. EDEN's work is characterized by atmospheric textures, glitchy beats, and layered vocals exploring identity, mental health, and modern life complexities. Studio albums include Vertigo (2018), no future (2020), ICYMI (2022), and Dark (August 2025). His rule: "make something you would be proud of even if no one ever hears it."
