Matt Lambert is an American filmmaker, creative director, and photographer based in Berlin, also known by his artistic moniker "Die Lamb." Born and raised in Los Angeles with formal training in fine arts and animation, Lambert moved to Berlin where he rediscovered his fine art roots and developed a practice focused on celebrating sexuality and queer intimacy. His gripping, sensual work spans narrative film, experimental documentary, music video, fashion, and photography, exploring themes of youth, intimacy, love, gender, and LGBT issues. He has worked with fashion brands including Gucci, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and Converse, and contributed to publications such as Dazed, i-D, Vogue US, and Purple. In 2020, he founded the experimental queer art/film project VITIUM, and his work was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, which named him one of the ten filmmakers of the future.
