Voin de Voin — Bulgarian artist, curator, and cultural organizer born 1978, lives in Sofia. He holds an MA from the Academy of Theatre and Dance Amsterdam and diplomas from Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Goldsmiths, and EICAR Paris. Voin de Voin founded ÆTHER Sofia in 2016 and Æther Haga The Hague with Marie Civikov in 2018, as well as Sofia Art Week in 2017. His multidisciplinary work spans performance, installation, and video, incorporating research into collective rituals and psycho-geography. He has participated in documenta 14 Athens, Manifesta 11 Zurich, the 56th Venice Biennale, and documenta (13) Kassel, earning international recognition for his investigation of cultural memory and communal experience. Represented by Sariev Contemporary Plovdiv since 2011.
